Safety and Maintenance
The PhenoPen is simple to maintain, but there are some things to be aware of to lengthen the battery life of the device and to get the most from it. The small indicator light at the bottom of the device will turn red when it’s time to charge. The device charges via Micro USB within two hours from empty. However, it’s worth noting that Li-ion batteries are best-preserved long-term when the charge remains between 20-90% as much as possible. We recommend not letting your pen regularly discharge to empty and to keep it maintained at around 30-70% charge at all times.
However, to maximize the longevity of such a battery, it does need to be discharged to empty periodically.
Are PhenoPen Cartridges Refillable?
Phenopen cartridges are not refillable due to our extract being proprietary. PhenoPen cartridges are pre-filled, tamper-proof and cannot be opened, refilled and reused. It’s also not possible to use PhenoPen cartridges on other vaping devices (batteries).
How long do I have to wait?

How long does a PhenoPen cartridge last?
This very much depends on one’s personal style of vaping and what they are using CBD for. Each PhenoPen cartridge contains 500 mg of pure hemp extract with 300mg of CBD and can last anything from a week to a month. Each Phenopen cartridge provides approximately 300 small-to-medium puffs (dependant on a number of factors).
Here is a rough guide depending on usage:
Beginner: 300 puffs per cartridge total – 5 puffs per day = 60 days
Intermediate: 300 puffs per cartridge total – 10 puffs per day = 30 days
